Turns out the PS3 people complaining had a reason. A patch was issued for GTA IV that should alleviate the connection problems and game lockups some PS3 players have been experiencing. Who is to blame for this? Sony? Rockstar Games? Not exactly; turns out the blame is being placed on Gamespy, who runs the servers with the problems. Gamespy is no stranger to multiplayer snafus; anyone else remember the big BF2 fiasco from last Summer? That was Gamespy too. SourceComments (2)
