So, you want a "free" weapon unlock for Battlefield: Bad Company do you? Hey, no problem EA says! All you have to do is sign up for Veteran status and you'll get a new rifle and a nifty little icon next to your name in-game. Now, who the hell wouldn't want this? OK, unlocks are gay, yes, you are bad-ass (thanks Cliff!) and don't need the noob guns. We say it's for free so it's for me, or you, whatever. So, go and sign up at battlefield.ea.com and you'll be able to get Vet status for any of the previous Battlefield games and Battlefield Heroes (if you're in the Beta we guess):

You sign up on the site and when you log into the game it just pops up, no code entry required. Don't forget Battlefield: Heroes is coming out soon and if you play that on your PC (free game btw) it will go toward getting this gun.
