Now that Battlefield: Bad Company is out and you are getting tired of the gold crates in Gold Rush mode you might be wondering what happened to that promised Conquest mode DICE said was going to be out "soon" after the game shipped. Wonder no more, DICE has this to say

Right now the team is working on creating the Conquest game mode for Battlefield: Bad Company together with the conversion of the maps to go with it. The Conquest Pack is currently going through testing and certification.

Now we have become VERY skeptical when given time-frames of "soon", just look for how many times Kaos Studios used that word about the 1.1.0 Frontlines patch. Given that DICE also said certification, we're more likely to believe them. Still, a firm date would be good to have.
