Amazon Gives Back $10 For Battlefield: Bad Company Purchases |

We just received an interesting email from Amazon.com that contained a code for a $10 gift card. Why would they just give us one of these? Did we do something special or maybe grandma sent it our way?
Nope - it was for buying Battlefield: Bad Company.
Thing is, we did not see/hear about this offer anywhere on the site when we pre-ordered the game. We knew about the unlock code for the sniper rifle but no mention was made of a gift card/rebate.
In case you were wondering, they have not dropped the price so this is not covering for a $10 price drop (purchase price guarantee).
According to the email, this card is given for the purchase of either the standard or gold edition of BFBC and can be used for anything on Amazon. Pretty sweet right? Yep, sweet indeed.
