2K Sports just released the demo of NHL2K9 on both XBLIVE and PSN.

The latest version of the venerable hockey standard will be released September 9th and will be sure to warm the cockles of your heart.

Before you get too excited though, a word or warning, the demo only lasts... 3 minutes. Ouch. Here's a quote from the presser

"...for a brief three minute period as either the Pittsburgh Penguins or Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit"
