 Wow this weekend went fast! We don't know about you but it feels like it's Saturday, not Monday morning. We killed some time, OK, a lot of time, playing Civilization Revolution (on PS3). We played so long because we have trouble letting things go, not because we liked the game. This game reaffirms our opinion that turn-based games are best left to the analog world. Not only did we not enjoy the turn system, the controls were not exactly fluid and didn't exactly endear us to the game. While this wasn't our cup of tea, we can't help but believe it must be much better on PC than on a console. We also played SOCOM for a bit because that game just rocks. We'll get that review up this week, we promise...once we get to it we'll also be sure to include some video and new screenshots. What about you bums, what fantastic stories do you have from this weekend?

... I didn't like this Civ or any other one. RTS should have killed off the turned-based genre but some people like it I guess. I got down with the COD World At War beta and it's good times. Spawing still sucks but that's COD for ya! |
