 While you can't join a COD: World at War PC beta server yet, you can start your own and poke around on the three maps (Castle, Makin and Roundhouse). These are the same maps as the Xbox 360 beta but the details have been bumped way up even though the screen resolution is capped at 1024x768. It's just what you'd expect from the COD4 engine. Enjoy the random screens, there's at least one overview of each map. ... I knew it would look better but it's striking how much. The draw distance doesn't need to be far with this game so you would think that the Xbox would be able to pump out better graphics. GOW is certainly sharper than the CODWaw beta. |
