 Valve is releasing the Left 4 Dead demo a bit earlier than initially stated. You can in fact get it today for both PC and Xbox 360.
Don't forget, you'll also get to play around with Steam Cloud on the PC version.

... Tried it at work! It is awesome! That's a good way to let the paying customer play first instead of the pirates. It's also cool that when I'll get home tonight I won't have to redo my settings thanks to steam-cloud. |
