Brits can get this shiny gold Lancer from Gamestation.co.uk for a mere £129.99... I guess if gold is your thing this might be for you. It's also pretty unique, we don't seem to have access to this here in the Colonies yet, we just get the Amazon.com "realistic" version. |

According to those who know

I REALLY doubt we'll hear anything until then. ... .
Keep an eye pealed on the In-box and patience on your mind ... all in due time.
Fingers crossed although we won't cry if we don't get one...SOCOM is coming out this week and there are only so many hours in a day. Good luck. |

Activision issued a press release officially announcing the launch of the Call of Duty: World at War beta...although most of you knew about it last week when we posted this. Anyway...the beta is for Xbox 360 and PC only, although the PC version isn't quite ready yet.
The Call of Duty: World at War multiplayer betas will provide players with an opportunity to play as U.S. Marines, German Wehrmacht, Japanese Imperial Army and Russian Red Army factions in a variety of game types (Team Death Match, Free-For-All, Capture the Flag and War), across three different maps:
- Castle: The Imperial Japanese Army faces off against the Marine Raiders in a daytime battle, located on the grounds of an ancient, Japanese castle.
- Makin: The U.S. Marine Raiders square off against the Imperial Japanese Army in a nighttime fight, set in an outpost on the Makin Atoll in the Pacific.
- Roundhouse: The Wehrmact will fight the Red Army to the bitter end in a daytime struggle that features tank and infantry combat, set in a desolate, war-torn European train depot.
The good news about the beta, that PC users are still waiting for, is that Activision says it will last a "few weeks" and that means a lot of fun time. The game officially launches November 11th. |

Well Sony has been busy haven't they? In addition to the PS3 v2.50 update, they also have the next PSP update ready. v5.00 brings some little tweaks but the showstopper is the addition of the PlayStation Store to the handheld.
Users are by now familiar with the PC accessed store and have grumbled on for years that the PSP doesn't have store access. Sony finally relented and added this much needed feature. Now users can access the store (using the same ID you had or your PS3 ID) and download games via WiFi.
Seriously, this is about time. After the iPhone App store came out things really came to a head with the lack of a WiFi PSP store. This fixes it, thanks.
When this update hits, the PC store will be taken down until they do some upgrading so if you want something you need to update your PSP to get it. |
