Here's the cover shot for next year's 2KSports MLB2K9. We knew it was going to be Tim Lincecum of San Francisco Giants but they haven't released the image until today.
The game is due to hit the streets in 2009 but no exact release date is known at this point. If history is any indicator, it will most likely be available in early March 2009.

Check it out, we've got the official Xbox 360 NXE intro video for you. NXE is of course the new Xbox 360 interface that you'll be installing on November 19th.
Before you get all excited about this vid though...it's really kind of just a ghey conceptual commercial. In fact, if you watch you'll just be confused as to what this has to do with the image we have here on the right.
We hope they didn't spend too much money producing this thing...

 While gamers are passionate about games and downright fanatical about their favorites, very rarely does a game provide content that makes you feel anything beyond the exhilaration of fragging the opponent. Lately however, we have seen games up the ante and actually provide moments in the game that make you feel genuine emotion. We'll use two examples from two of the hottest and latest games on the market - Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2 - to show you what they to drive the emotional level to a solid 10.
