Activision has said their upcoming Bond game based on the next movie The Quantum of Solace will run of the Call of Duty 4 engine. The game is being developed by Treyarch who has also been rumored to be the studio making COD5; the use of this engine certainly lends credence to that rumor.

The use of the COD4 engine certainly is good news for the game because we all know it runs like buttah on most platforms.

In addition to that it has also been mentioned that the next Call of Duty (COD5) will take place in a "new theater" which means either moving locations to say South America or more likely, the time the fighting takes place. All other COD games were WWII-based and the best guess is COD5 will be going back there. Unless they make COD2142...

One thing they have not made clear is will Infinity Ward be making the game or are they out-sourcing to a chop shop. 

The Bourne Conspiracy demo has been out a few days now and we'll find out if it can crack the top ten on XBLIVE next week. We've played the demo and think it's pretty good. The game features some good fighting moves and combos that are interspersed with quick cut scenes that give it a very "movie" feel to it. While this has the potential to be annoying as you wait for the parts you control, at least in the demo, it seems to work well.

GTA IV is easy enough to pick up for the single player missions but the multiplayer modes have been somewhat of a mystery...until now. THQ announced an exclusive agreement with Marvel Comics to produce games based on Marvel's Super Hero Squad. The games will obviously be more kid oriented in nature and will be made for PCs, consoles and handheld devices. The agreement is multi-year with the first game set to be released on PC in Fall 2009.
