Penny Arcade Episode Two

Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode Two comes to XBLIVE Arcade this Wednesday and it features the same cartoon characters you love/hate but with better game mechanics. While Episode One was hailed as a hit for its graphics and novelty, it fell short for many people when it came to actually playing the game; if you're one of them, wait and see if there is a demo first. To hold you over until Weds, we have some screens, two videos and the press release from today below.

You can get in on the 6-10 hours of fun for $14.95 (1200 MS Points).

Wednesday, 22 October 2008
COD5
The PC beta is fast approaching according to the folks at Treyarch that should know. With that in mind, many people are wondering how they can get their grubby little mitts on a beta key... It's about as simple as you can get

You will be required to enter a CD Key for the BETA, much like you will when you get the full game this November. These PC keys will be available to all registered users of CallOfDuty.com, including any new users who sign up after the PC BETA releases. These keys aren't intended to limit the BETA to a certain number of players; they are here to allow you to create these unique profile names for our Friends and Invites features.

So, head on over to callofduty.com, register and wait for your beta key to show up in your email. Sweet.

Star Wars: Old Republic MMO Unveiled E-mail

Star Wars: Old Republic

LucasArts and Bioware announced the long hinted at Star Wars MMO for PC entitled - Star Wars: The Old Republic. Gee, that sounds familiar you might be saying well...

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is the most critically acclaimed Star Wars game in LucasArts history and a preeminent example of our company’s interactive storytelling heritage,” said Darrell Rodriguez, President of LucasArts. “For a long time, we’ve wanted to return to the franchise in a grand way, and we felt that the best setting for it was an online world that would allow millions of people to participate in the experience together.

This should make a lot of people happy because SWKOTOR is still talked about today as the best Star Wars game ever made. We remember hearing a lot about how Star Wars: The Force Unleashed wasn't as good as SWKOTOR so those folks should be doing a happy dance about now. Of course...as they say with the stock market: past performance does not guarantee future results.

Read the presser below for all the gory details, while you're there, check out the screenshots and artwork.
