All things Gears5 Months Later...Anybody Playing Still?

I've had a lot of friends drop off and the fault is squarely with Epic and their epic failure to fix a lot of multiplayer problems. Only now do we hear about "transparency" in ranking up. What a joke, Microsoft just let them run with this and they dropped the ball big-time.

I haven't played it in a couple of months at this point. I haven't played my 360 since the 8th (Killzone 2 is THAT good).
Gears was fun and I loved Horde mode but the constant disconnects, people dropping out and the hard time even getting online was too much to handle.

I agree, I love how Epic is trying their best to get everything working again, but it's been rough from the start. I may get back into it when they release the DLC pack http://www.gameinformer.com/NR/exeres/32A667AF-9669-40AF-91D6-30D95F54704A.htm in July. Hopefully it revives it like they did with Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3...

Some of my friends still play it. I don't think they will ever make a game as successful as halo though because the whole sit out and watch after you die, really drags on. Especially because most gamers are impatient, such as myself. Plus it should be called Lag of War or Glitches of War.

I'm currently still playing it. It's so addicting

There are numerous people online.
I went online yesterday and found matches almost at instant.
