Ubisoft Officially Says Assassin's Creed 2 for 2009-2010

Following our earlier item (here) reporting on game analyst Pachter's opinion that Assassin's Creed 2 is on the way, we have Ubisoft confirming it today with statements made by Ubi's CEO and within their latest earnings report.

Our line-up comprises several potential blockbusters with the launch of 7 franchises, including Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon

Excellent news! We bet this one comes out before the end of the year and more likely sometime in November. We'll keep looking and let you know when they supply more info on the game.

	... I'm excited about this one. Sure you did some of the same things but the use of crowds, the graphics and the fights were great stuff.
