ArmA II Deploys to a PC Near You June 26th

ArmA II finally has a release date and it's better than I expected - June 26th. This is shaping up to be the best new FPS game for PCs of the year - at the very least it's the first in the bunch with some other multi-console games like Operation Flashpoint 2 and COD:MW2 coming later in the year.

I posted some new screenshots below and I think you'll agree, it looks pretty damn good. The thing with ArmA that people like and don't like is it's realism. The pacing is a bit like America's Army but without the training so it doesn't have that jump-in-and-go feeling like a Battlefield or COD game. In the past, I've been down with this and hated it at the same time. I'm hoping this time it's more like BF than AA though.
