I've got some new Skate 3 images to share today that look great but not all that different from Skate 2. At this point I think it's fair to say that Skate 3 is evolutionary and not revolutionary just like Skate 2.

I had hoped for a new engine after a couple of years like they tweak Madden or FIFA but they apparently are just fine with the formula they have. Why not though when you consider that they've taken Tony Hawk out over the years and the Tony Hawk: Ride game doesn't seem to be setting any sales records. Still, it's kind of lazy and I hope they're going to change things for Skate 4.




Skate 3 will be released on May 18, 2010.
