Codemasters has finally revealed the minimum and recommended specs for the PC version of Dirt 2. The DX 11 version is about as high as you thought it would be, not Crysis-crazy high but still high enough. They only recommend one card for this as well, the ATI HD5700 which comes in a variety of flavors starting with the HD 5750 for around 150 dollars which isn't so bad. Minimum specs are wide-open and anyone with a computer bought in the last 4 years should be fine but don't expect it to look better than the console version if you're just hitting the min here.

Dirt 2 will be released on December 1, 2009.

• RAM: 3GB
• HDD: 10GB
• Video Card: ATi Radeon HD 5700 Series

• CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3.0Ghz, AMD Athlon 64 3400+
• RAM: 1GB (2Gb for Windows Vista)
• HDD: 10GB
• Video Card: ATI Radeon X1500, NVIDIA GeForce 6800
