Thankfully, the publishers are starting to realize that loading all of the biggest games into one 3 month span distorts their balance sheets and also forces consumers to make hard choices that could have some games not selling as much as they would if they weren't overshadowed by the crowd.
The first quarter of 2010 brings a refreshing change of pace with big name games on deck, some of which will be contender for a Game of the Year award. Take a look at the list below and be thankful that they weren't dumped into the 4th 1/4 2009. If you're like me there are at least five games on that list you want. If you are me, there are 13 games on that list you want...
01/05/2010 - Bayonetta
01/12/2010 - Dark Void
01/12/2010 - Army of Two: The 40th Day
01/26/2010 - Mass Effect 2
01/26/2010 - MAG - Massive Action Game
02/02/2010 - Lost Planet 2
02/09/2010 - Dante's Inferno
02/09/2010 - Bioshock 2
02/10/2010 - Dead Rising 2
02/23/2010 - Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction
03/02/2010 - Battlefield: Bad Company 2
03/09/2010 - Final Fantasy XIII
03/31/2010 - God of War III
It certainly is a great time to be a gamer isn't it?
