Cryptic Studios is getting closer to finalizing and releasing Star Trek Online and this means dropping images, videos and other game tidbits to the media. Today I have just that sort of thing for you, a new STO video entitled Belly of the Beast. The video is short at just under a minute but this is the best look at ship combat I've seen yet and it's simply awesome.

STO is actually on my "games to try" list so I'm hoping we will hear more about a demo or trial period soon. Barring that, after having been burned a few times buying MMO discs only to not like the game I'll have to sit this one out.
