WiiWaa Brings Toddler Segment to Wii Games

WiiWaa DICE isn't the developer in Sweden and Zoink Games might just be onto something with their Wii game WiiWaa. Essentially, the game uses a Wiimote stuck into a stuffed animal to control the action on the screen. You feed the little monster the controller and then bounce him around, turn him, roll, and shake the crap out of him to move the character on the screen. Check out the video below and you'll see what's going on here. The kid in the video seems a bit old for the game but I doubt you'd want to watch a real toddler playing with this thing if you're not the kid's parent.

I have to tell you, I'd get this for my 18 month old even if he doesn't "get" that he's controlling the monster. He'd love to have the stuffed toy and eventually would understand he's making the action on the screen happen. It doesn't look like there is going to be a U.S. release but someone should pick this game up and get it over here. We're suckers for games and games that let us play with our kids are sure to sell.
