Capcom Delays Lost Planet 2, Monster Hunter 3, Super Street Fighter 4 and Lowers Forecasts on Dark Void

Lost Planet 2 Capcom announced delays to three of their key games in 2010 and significantly lowered their sales forecasts for another. In a surprise move, Capcom has moved the release dates of Lost Planet 2, Monster Hunter 3 and Super Street Fighter IV to their fiscal 2010 year (that starts in April.) Previously, Lost Planet 2 had a release date of February 2nd and Monster Hunter 3 and Super Street Fighter IV was supposed to hit on March 31st. The new dates have not been released and Capcom said they are moving the dates because of the stiff schedule of competition in the early part of 2010. It's hard to argue with that because there are some heavy hitters coming up (e.g., BBFC2, Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell Conviction.)

In addition to the bad news about the moved releases, Capcom has dropped their sales forecast for Dark Void from 2 million to 600,000 - a significant drop and that might explain the flurry of video and image releases the past few weeks.
