After years of delays and multiple release dates, Ubisoft has not said that Splinter Cell: Conviction will definitely be released on April 13th. To underscore the point, the developer even sent IGN a rock with the date etched in stone as it were.

I've had my pre-order in for a few months now at Amazon so this is good news. It would have been better if they would have hit one of the previous release dates but there's not much we can do about that now.
