Capcom just announced Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 and it's a sequel to the arcade platformer sold on PSN and XBLIVE - Bionic Commando Rearmed. In other words, this is not a sequel to the generally OK but not great Bionic Commando game that can now be had for the bargain-basement price of $15 or so on Amazon. No, this is a simple platform game that would probably seem right at home on an iPhone or iPad but no mention of that possibility just yet.

It's still too early to judge the game itself beyond the fact it looks like you'd expect; however, you can take a peek at the screenshots and video below to start formulating your early opinion.
