The game features are fairly comprehensive for a mobile game with all 17 F1 tracks, two game modes (Time Trial and Endurance), multiple skill modes, a customizable control scheme and the ability to share your progress and racing times through a service that integrates with Facebook and Twitter.
If there's one thing that comes to mind when I hear Codemasters (e.g., Pure, DiRT) it's racing games because they've done them so well in the past. It will be interesting to see what skills they've brought to the mobile platform with this game.

When it hits the iTunes App Store, F1 2009 will feature all 10 teams, 20 drivers and 17 circuits from the 2009 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. If you take a look at the images below you might notice the game looks pretty good and driving games seem to be perfectly adapted to the touch-gaming platform so this should be fun. The tracks are just what you'd expect to see in an F1 game; Eau Rouge at Spa Francorchamps, Becketts at Silverstone and the claustrophobic streets of Monaco. F1 2009 also features a night race in Singapore and the Yas Marina circuit in the United Arab Emirates.

There were of course a number of games provided by the standard big game publishers like EA, Ubisoft and Activision, Konami, 2k and more, but there were also quite a few indy games tucked in there making for a nice mix. Games such as Sims 3, Madden NFL, Assassin's Creed were joined by Flight Control and Stick Wars. The nice thing about indy games is that they tend to concentrate more on gameplay than graphics and storyline.
