E3 2010 - Medal of Honor Beta Starts as Early as June 17th for Some

Medal of Honor Beta EA officially confirmed the Medal of Honor beta rumor today by providing some details on what to expect and where to get it.

The official start date of the MOH beta will be June 21st for the masses that have pre-ordered the game from one of the many retailers selling it (I go with Amazon and you should too.) If you're a Battlefield Bad Company 2 VIP player (if you bought that game new basically) then you'll get access to the beta a few days earlier on June 17th.

Their will be a beta for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 (individually, not playing together) with 2 maps - Helmand Valley and Kabul City Ruins. The beta will have 12v12 matches in Combat Mission (tactical team-based that sounds like Rush mode) with an array of weapon loadouts to choose from.

E3 2010 - Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam Expansion Pack Announced - It's Not BF3

BFBC2 Vietnam While it's not exactly as exciting as a Battlefield 3 announcement, EA did announce the next chapter of the Battlefield franchise today at E3. Coming this Winter we'll be seeing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Vietnam for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Billed as a "digital expansion pack" and avoiding the "we'll never charge for DLC" critics because it's not DLC but DEP... BFBC2V will have new weapons, vehicles, unlocks, awards, achievements and trophies. You'll be playing as U.S. Marines or the North Vietnamese (NVA). Just to make sure you understand this isn't a whole new game there's only going to be four new maps to go with this in the typical Conquest and Rush modes. This is more like the Battlefield 2 expansion packs franchise veterans remember.

Mass Effect 2 Demo Today and Overlord DLC Tomorrow

Mass Effect 2 Overlord EA is keeping Mass Effect 2 on everyones mind (maybe because we're going to glimpse Mass Effect 3 at E3...) by announcing the game's demo release and some new DLC coming our way.

The demo is for PCs and Xbox 360s and it provides access to the first two missions of the game as well as one bonus mission, totaling over 90 minutes of game-time. BioWare is also going to release the demo with a "Story-so-far" video, narrated by actor Martin Sheen, that provides a recap of past events and plot twists in the Mass Effect universe. If you haven't played it yet, Mr. Sheen plays a pivotal character in the game.

BioWare also reminded current owners that the previously announced (May 18th) Overlord DLC hits soon, adding five new areas and two new achievements. Available June 15, the game add-on is available for 560 Microsoft points and on PC for 560 BioWare points. Also on June 15, BioWare is releasing a new premium theme based on Omega and new avatar items for Xbox Live will follow on June 17.

So... Mass Effect 3 announcement this week you think or not?
