The experimental game style has paid of well for the makers of Heavy Rain (Quantic Dream).  Today they reported that Heavy Rain has hit the 1 million mark for units sold.  I have yet to give the full version a go but the demo certainly had me intrigued, looks like it did the job on another million people too.  If I wasn't so damn addicted to MW2 I would seriously consider giving this game a go.

Awhile back I started a little ALT+F4 rewards program and said the first person to hit 1,000 points would earn themselves a copy of Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising. Well it's time to pay up. Long-time member Voodoo has passed 1,000 points and will not only be getting a copy of OpFlash but also a copy of the original Battlefield: Bad Company for Xbox 360.

What's the next prize up for grabs? The next person to hit 1,000 points will earn themselves a Logitech G110 keyboard. 

All you have to do is join, login, post some comments, add a couple of blog posts - basically you need to be active. Get to 1,000 points first and you get the keyboard. Just one caveat here, this contest is limited to members in North America - sorry, shipping is a bitch and expensive anywhere else.

I suppose it comes with the territory; boy rents server to run new game and the hackusations start flying. Specifically, I rent a BFBC2 server for the site and my clan. The ALT+F4 & Raider Battalion BFBC2 server is a 32 slot server that has Punkbuster on and is streaming to PBBans. While this arrangement isn't foolproof it's as good as you can get right now to keep a server reasonably clean.
